Dr. Irwin R. Medina, DDS

With over three decades of experience, Dr. Irwin Medina has dedicated his career to providing exceptional dental care rooted in compassion, precision, and a commitment to excellence.
Dr. Medina earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the prestigious New York University College of Dentistry in 2004, following his initial dental degree from the National Autonomous University of Honduras. He completed his General Practice Residency at Our Lady of Mercy Hospital in the Bronx, New York, where he honed his skills in comprehensive dental care and advanced clinical procedures.
Dr. Medina’s relentless pursuit of excellence led him to specialize further through a three-year advanced program in Implant Dentistry and Bone Grafting at NYU. Over the years, he has mastered a range of specialties, including full-mouth reconstruction, dental implants, cosmetic dentistry, root canals, crowns, and oral surgery. His diverse experience includes serving as the Dental Director at Walton Family Health Center, where he oversaw patient care and mentored upcoming dental professionals. He later joined a prominent private practice in Manhattan’s Upper East Side, where he delivered high-end, transformative dental care.
In 2022, Dr. Medina joined Dental Arts of Orange County, where his skill and dedication quickly made him a cornerstone of the practice. In September 2024, he proudly took ownership of the clinic, solidifying his commitment to serving the community with state-of-the-art dentistry and a patient-first philosophy.

Originally from Central America, Dr. Medina is fluent in both English and Spanish, enabling him to connect deeply with a diverse patient base. Outside of dentistry, he and his wife enjoy exploring the scenic beauty and culinary delights of the Hudson Valley. Whether cycling through picturesque trails or cruising in their classic 1956 Packard, Dr. Medina treasures his time connecting with his community and family.
Emily Wamsley, RDH
Registered Dental Hygienist
With a passion for promoting oral health and a warm, caring approach to patient care, Emily Wamsley has been dedicated to improving smiles since earning her Associate of Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene from Orange County Community College in 2016. Licensed in New York and certified in local anesthesia and nitrous oxide administration, Emily is committed to ensuring every patient feels comfortable and informed during their dental visits.
Emily’s professional journey includes experience in private practices and hospital-based settings, such as the Hudson Valley Veterans Administration Hospital. Her expertise ranges from preventive care to patient education, emphasizing the importance of maintaining long-term oral health.

Emily believes that a healthy smile is the foundation of overall well-being. She strives to build strong relationships with her patients, providing personalized care and empowering them to take charge of their oral health.
